DIRECTIONS
📍 If you use Apple Maps or Google Maps, you can search “Mount Tom House” and will be guided right here!
🏠 Our address is: 34251 Mount Tom Dr, Harrisburg, OR 97446
❓ In the last few miles of the drive, you might scratch your head and wonder “are we going in the right direction?” — you are! The most important thing to note is that Mount Tom Dr is going to transition to a single-lane paved driveway directly ahead of you. You are going to follow the driveway all the way to our house. It’s steep, it curves, & is 1/2 mile long. Look for the Mount Tom House signs at the start and end of our driveway to help guide you the last 1/2 mile!
Please note: at the start of our driveway, you will see a big rock to the left with “34051” — that is our neighbors’ nearly identical house numbers. Do not go left - follow the Mount Tom House sign ahead of you.
🚖 Taxis & Ubers/Lyfts: you will be able to catch taxis/Ubers/Lyfts from Eugene to Mount Tom House. To get from Mount Tom House to Eugene, we recommend scheduling a taxi or pre-scheduling an Uber/Lyft. Uber & Lyft do not provide on-demand services from Mount Tom House at this time!
ARRIVAL
Once you have driven the 1/2 mile up our driveway, you’ll see the house numbers embedded in rocks and a 3-car garage. You can park in the gravel parking lot on your left, or - if there is space - on the cement parking pad in front of the garage.
Come into the house and Juli will give you a quick lay of the land and direct you to your tent.
IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT DRIVING TO THE TENTS AND PARKING:
✅ IF YOU HAVE 4WD: you can drive from the trailer up the gravel road to Mount Tom House.
❌ IF YOU DO NOT HAVE 4WD: when you want to get to Mount Tom House from the trailer, please drive DOWN the gravel road and UP the paved driveway. Do not drive up the gravel road from the trailer – you will spin out on the steep hill!
🅿️ Unless Juli has noted otherwise, keep your car parked at the trailer 7am - 9pm on the event day(s).
Do not park in the gravel parking lot by Mount Tom House, as that is reserved for day-of event guests only.

To use the sink: Turn the water pump on before using the sink and turn it off immediately when you're finished.
Please do not leave the water pump on when the sink is not in use. Doing so can damage the pump and potentially cause a leak.
The water is safe to drink—it's the same water supplied to Mount Tom House.
The water heater has already been turned on and can remain on for your entire stay.
Please do not pour anything except water down the sink drain.

Integrity, creativity, and empathy shape the way we work. These aren't just words—they’re the foundation of everything we build.

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead. What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.

FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS
$35/night/pet
We have a few asks to ensure a great time for everyone at Mount Tom House:
Deer, chickens, cats | Please note that there are a plethora of deer on the property. We also have chickens + two cats. If your pup likes to chase other animals, we recommend they stay on leash to avoid adventures into the woods.
Doing their business | Pups are welcome to do their business anywhere except the front lawn (the grass & area all around the house). This is a requirement, not an ask. We work hard to keep the grass and garden looking great for future guests and events. $150 fine for each pee/poop on the front lawn.
Trashcans are available on the front patio for poop bags. Unless pups do their business in the woods, poop must be picked up before departure.
Linens | If pups sleep with you in bed, we require that a blanket is placed over the duvet & sheets in order to protect them from any sneaky mud stains. A blanket & towel is included in your dog basket.
Please do not use bath towels or bath mats to wipe down your pup! The bath & bedding linens are intended for humans only.
Extra items | Just inside the front door you will find a basket with some dog toys, extra poop bags, and towels to wipe off dirty paws. If you need anything, just ask!
Communication | if others, especially day-of guests who do not receive this link, will be watching your dogs, it is your responsibility to share these rules & expectations
INDOOR ACCESS
Interior access is strictly for overnight guests and vendors only, unless otherwise arranged by your hosts and Mount Tom House.
We ask that you respect this rule by not inviting others inside the house, especially to use the restroom.
Any special access exceptions are arranged in advance between your hosts and Mount Tom House.
KITCHEN ACCESS
Kitchen access is for Mount Tom House staff & vendors only.
According to state regulations, guests (you!) are not able to access our kitchen to take or use utensils, wash utensils, store food, prep food, or cook food - just like a restaurant or hotel!
Our kitchen is an open and inviting space and we absolutely welcome conversation while we are there. With that said, view our kitchen like your bedroom. This is the Mount Tom House team’s private space. Just like we do not enter your bedrooms and rummage through things, you absolutely cannot enter or help yourself to our kitchen utensils or space. If you have specific questions, just ask!
Mount Tom House does not provide kitchen items, drinkware, tableware, servingware, and bussing or washing services outside of the meals provided by our team unless arrangements have been made in advance.
On the second floor you have access to:
a separate fridge & freezer to store your items
a microwave
a limited selection of disposable silverware, cups, plates
please note: just like a hotel or camping experience, please bring any additional kitchen utensils, servingware, drinkware, or tableware you might need for meals, snacks, drinks outside of those provided in-house
An important note about coolers:
Coolers are not permitted inside the house. This is non-negotiable. You’ll notice in the upstairs coffee loft our water-damaged wood floors. This is a result of leaking coolers + inattention.
BREAKFAST
Rise and shine! Breakfast is included at Mount Tom House.
Your hosts have determined breakfast time each morning and we worked together to create feel-good, fueled-up menus for your stay. If you have any menu or timing questions, don’t hesitate to ask!
EVENING
WIND-DOWN
Weekends at Mount Tom House are meant for celebrating—late-night conversations, laughter with friends, and making the most of your time together!
If your group wraps up before 11pm, the Mount Tom House team will take care of turning off the music, switching off lights, and locking up for the night.
If the celebration continues past 11pm, we’ll leave things in your hands. When you’re ready to call it a night, simply turn off the music and any indoor lights as you head to bed.
A few helpful notes:
Outdoor lights will turn off automatically.
The iPad for the music system will be on the kitchen counter for easy shutdown.
Late Night Questions?
Even if you don’t see Juli after 11pm, she’s still at Mount Tom House—she’s off getting some quiet time so she’s bright-eyed for breakfast (and doesn’t burn the bacon!). Call or text anytime if you need anything!
POOL & HOT TUB
pool | the pool is heated mid-June through September
hot tub | the hot tub is available year-round; if you'd like to use the hot tub, let us know about 45 minutes in advance so we can give it a final boost in temperature and turn on the jets!
important | children & young adults must be accompanied by an adult, always
liability waiver | folks using the pool are required to sign a liability waiver
BABIES & KIDDOS
Let us know if littles are joining and what items we can have available. Some of the things we have on hand include:
high chair
kids’ tableware & drinkware
pack n’ play
portable baby wash tub, soap, washcloths
HIKING THE TRAILS
Bring along a pair of hiking boots with you to enjoy the trails!
waterproof hiking boots are highly recommended November - June; the trail will have standing water in some spots & a creek to cross.
Flying Wyrm Easement Trails
our upper trail is a little over 1 mile long and ends at a west-facing lookout point. You will find the start of the trail behind the house. Look for the outbuilding with unpainted cedar shingles and then continue up on the path behind it!
the lookout is on our neighbors' property; they kindly welcome Mount Tom House guests to enjoy the view. Please be respectful of their property and privacy (you'll notice their cabin to the north of the lookout).
in partnership with McKenzie River Trust
Tents Gravel Road
a shorter route to a similar westward view
walk down our driveway, past the green shop and you will see a huge gravel road on your left
pop down there and you’ll find the lookout (.25 miles from the house) as well as where our glamping tents are located in the summer!
you can continue down the gravel road - it pops you down to the bottom of the paved driveway
RECOMMENDATIONS
reach out to Juli if you have specific curiosities!
