This wine is a testament to the untamed heart, creativity and individualist spirit of Stephen’s son, Juel, combining each of the six selections of Pinot Noir grown into one estate wine. The backbone of this wine is a single pick on a single day from each block of Pinot Noir and co-fermenting with 25% of whole cluster inclusion. 

Passiflora Pinot Noir 2021 | ANTIQUUM FARM | $68

Passiflora captures the most ethereal and eccentric voice of Antiquum Farm in a stunningly elegant profile. From the highest elevations of the site, each lot was destemmed, fermented and aged separately contributing to the floral and tropical tones of this wine.

Luxuria Pinot Noir 2021 | ANTIQUUM FARM | $85

The lower elevations in the vineyard hold a one-acre parcel of vines straddling a seam between two clonal blocks.  This small section of the site expresses the dark and brooding voice of Antiquum Farm. Firmly earth-rooted, its structure is a rich foundation expressing a Pinot Noir of unparalleled power and depth.

With a gorgeous round mid-palate, this Pinot Noir showcases cherry, red plum, raspberry, and lavender aromatic notes, coupled with flavors of plum with a touch of graham. Hearty and robust, yet smooth and approachable.

Bright, floral and laced with hints of anise or licorice, this Beaujolais-style wine is well-rounded and showcases aromatic flavors including strawberry and delicate floral notes,with a warm balance of earthier notes like mushroom and truffle.

A breath of fresh air in the Oregon sparkling wine scene. Beautifully clean and refreshing, with superb balance and persistence to the citrus and green apple notes, accented by brioche and clove.

Aurosa Pinot Gris 2021 | ANTIQUUM FARM | $38

Aurosa showcases a charming, light golden rose color and unique hibiscus tea and rosehip tones. Slight wisps of lavender, violets, and tea rose intermingle with citrus, river stone, and steel. A layered, tannic texture compliments and supports the profile of this unique and intriguing expression of Pinot Gris.

Ficus embraces the richness and intensity of the evolution of the vineyard’s pinot gris section. The fruit was picked and pressed immediately at the winery and boasts ripe melon and fig flavors on a vibrant frame.

Alium explores another depth of expression from our ever-evolving Pinot Gris vineyard. Thirty days of skin maceration roots Alium in an earthbound tone and bends Antiquum Farm's tropicality toward an herbaceous savory character, while the textural tension lends layers of density and intrigue.

Antiquum Farm reflects the process of questioning the meaning of and redefining one of the wine industry’s most beloved concepts: terroir. They have forged a new system of wine growing – Grazing-Based Viticulture – a farming process without fertilizers and outside influences and one where sheep, chickens, geese, and pigs graze the vineyards nourishing the wines. The process is grounded in an unwavering belief in a deeper, more holistic conception of place. Over the years, Antiquum Farm has only sought to allow the vineyard the space and ability to become what it wishes to be.

The passion for the vineyard and wine business evolved in 2006 when we decided to plant some small blocks of Pinot Noir, Gamay Noir, and Pinot Gris grapevines. These hearty little vines have served as our motivation and drive as we continue to expand our vineyard production. Together we have combined our mutual passions with love and commitment to our vineyards and thus launched Hayworth Estate Wines. It is with great pride that we share our efforts in agriculture and that we invite you to taste and enjoy our farm to table wines.

Once Sweet Cheeks Winery’s founder, Dan, planted the vineyard, he noticed the hillside’s sweeping beauty and the peaceful feeling of escape. Not originally part of the vineyard’s vision, he then knew he had to share this place with others. Since opening in 2005, the idea of community has been foundational to Dan and the winery’s operation.
